Neuro Club
Ready to make your child’s world a little more neuro-inclusive?
Torfaen Talks CIC is proud to invite you to our next Neuro Club session. We have teamed up with Catrina at Neuroteachers for a session dedicated to understanding, celebrating, and supporting our neurodivergent children.
Whether you’re a parent, or a carer, looking to better support the young people in your life, this session is designed for you. We’ll be diving into practical strategies, reframing perspectives, and sharing professional insights on how to help neurodivergent children thrive in a world that isn't always built for them.
What to Expect
Expert Advice: Gain jargon-free, professional insights into ADHD, Autism, Dyslexia, and other neurodivergent profiles.
Practical Tools: Walk away with actionable strategies you can implement at home or in school immediately.
Community Connection: Meet other families across Gwent who are walking a similar path.
A Safe Space: Join a relaxed, inclusive environment where every question is valued and every voice is heard.
Why Attend?
"Understanding is the first step to acceptance, and with acceptance, comes growth."
Navigating the world as a neurodivergent child (or as their support system) can be challenging. This session aims to empower you with the knowledge to advocate for your child’s needs while celebrating their unique strengths.
Registration: Spaces are strictly limited to ensure a comfortable environment for all attendees. Please secure your spot early to avoid disappointment.

Connect. Share. Influence.
Navigating the world of neurodiversity is a journey that no one should have to walk alone. At Neuro Club, we believe the best experts on what families need are the families themselves.
These are sessions dedicated to insight, connection, and real conversation. We want to hear your voice: How can we make things better for neurodivergent families in Gwent?
This isn’t just another meeting—it’s a dedicated space designed for parents and carers to bridge the gap between "how things are" and "how they should be."
Community Voice: Discuss what is currently working and identify the gaps in local support.
Resource Hub: Meet with various local ND support groups and organizations to discover tools and services available to you right now.
Stronger Together: Help us build a roadmap to move forward as a more connected and empowered community.
Who We Are
Neuro Club is committed to fostering an environment where neurodiversity is understood, embraced, and supported. By joining this event, you aren't just attending a session—you are helping us shape the future of our community.
Torfaen Talks CIC, as part of the Gwent Regional Partnership Board's RIF initiative, is developing a regional model for accessible community support. We recognise the significant service gap for adults awaiting neurodivergent (ND) assessment and the need for consistent wellbeing support.
We invite you to participate to help us understand and address the lack of affordable, timely emotional and peer support for adults across Gwent.
We want to hear your ideas on:
What support would you like that you feel is missing right now?
What would this support look like (the 'What' and the 'How')?
Why is this specific support important to you?
Your input is crucial for establishing an evidence base to secure sustainable funding for these services in the long term.
