Meno & Mind
Meno and Mind, is a targeted wellbeing initiative designed to support the residents of Torfaen. By bridging the gap between clinical services and community care, we provide accessible tools for mental and physical resilience.
Our Vision: What We’re Doing
We are delivering two evidence-informed programmes across Torfaen to reduce isolation and improve long-term health:
Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT): A 12-week course at Panteg House. Combining mindfulness with CBT tools, this programme helps adults manage stress, anxiety, and low mood in a supportive group setting.
Menofit: A 6-week holistic programme delivered four times across North and South Torfaen. It supports women through perimenopause and menopause using yoga, nutrition, cold water therapy, and peer connection.
Inclusivity at our Core: To ensure no one is left behind, we operate a "Pay What You Can" model (suggested £5), removing financial barriers during the cost-of-living crisis.
Driven by Our Community
This project wasn't designed in an office—it was built in conversation with you. After consulting with Torfaen residents, we identified a critical gap in non-clinical support for menopause and mental health waiting lists.
Meno and Mind is our direct response: a community-powered project delivered by local facilitators with lived experience.

How We Meet Funding Priorities
Our project advances National Lottery priorities by promoting wellbeing, inclusion, and resilience across Torfaen. Through MBCT and Menofit, we bring people together in supportive settings to share experiences, reduce isolation, and build lasting community connections.
Both programmes offer vital early intervention for those facing mental health challenges or life transitions, such as menopause. By providing practical tools—ranging from CBT strategies to nutritional guidance—we empower participants to manage their long-term health independently.
We are specifically addressing the cost-of-living crisis by offering these sessions at low cost, ensuring financial hardship is never a barrier to support. This project strengthens the community by providing inclusive, non-clinical spaces that respond directly to local demand. Based on proven models and resident input, Meno and Mind offers a sustainable, person-centred approach that helps our community thrive.
